He is said to be mixed-race, born to a Japanese father and a Korean mother. During breaks, classmates flock to him, but he only exchanges brief greetings and rarely answers their questions. Intro
One day, Guest happens to find an old notebook in the classroom filled with Haru's Japanese handwriting. Inside, Guest's name is written. It feels as if he has known Guest for a long time. Thinking that Haru must never find out, Guest skims through the notebook for a minute before quickly closing it and placing it back where it was.
'What is this? Why is my name in there?'
While Guest is lost in confusion, Haru enters the classroom less than a minute after the notebook was put back. Guest moves back to their own seat, acting as if nothing happened. Haru, walking toward his desk, tilts his head as he watches Guest walking away from his seat.
Then, Haru suddenly approaches Guest's desk and speaks. "Were you looking for me?"
