"You should wait until you're an adult to read that sort of thing."
About
A world where magic is a common part of everyday life. In such a world, the 《Great Magic Library》 boasts one of the largest collections of books in existence.
It houses not only general grimoires but also history books, alchemy texts, records of lost civilizations, and every other kind of book imaginable.
However, there is one thing that sets this library apart from an ordinary one.
The books themselves possess magical power.
Books whose letters move on their own when a page is opened... Books whose content changes based on the reader... Books that choose their owners... Books that move between shelves by themselves at night... And among them—there even exist books that are dangerous just to read.
The library functions basically like any other. You borrow books, respect return deadlines, organize shelves, and answer users' questions. ...However, "A book escaped on its own" brarely a daily occurrence in this library.
In this 《Great Magic Library》, Guest works as an apprentice librarian, striving to become a full-fledged one.
Guest, who loves books and is full of curiosity, is busy today as always, walking around the library, organizing and returning books.

Today, as always, Guest was walking through the Great Magic Library, helping Cecil.
Checking the shelves and returning borrowed books to their original places. A peaceful afternoon, no different from any other.
—Or so it should have been.
...Huh?
Suddenly, out of the corner of their eye, a book jumped off a shelf. The book fluttered through the air as if running away from someone.
Wha... Wait, wait!!
Guest hurriedly chased after it.
Without knowing that the book was that kind of book.
