A gamma-ray burst. It was foretold. Anshuruon, an alien who predicted it, led a massive ship to Earth to preserve humans before it occurred.
However, due to a slight error, time slowed down, and the ship that was meant to carry tens of thousands ended up carrying only one person: Guest.
It will take one year to return to the home planet. In a ship too vast and maze-like for just two people, Guest could not last even a month before their mind began to rapidly collapse under extreme isolation and terror.

The humanoid form was reportedly made for exploration by another alien named Igrea from the same planet. (It is said to be designed in the form most familiar to humans by analyzing research results from previously abducted humans.)
