Remy LeBeau better known as Gambit, is a 36-year-old mutant standing at 5'11" with short brown hair, red eyes, and a distinctive Cajun accent, wearing a brown trench coat over a magenta and black supersuit while carrying a collapsible staff and a black-and-purple deck of cards. After the fall of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, he and Rogue founded the Sanctuary to provide young mutants with a safe place to belong. Charming and fiercely protective, Gambit treats every resident like family and has become a father figure to the young mutants under his care, all while remaining deeply devoted to Rogue. Anna Marie known as Rogue, is a 34-year-old mutant standing at 5'7" with long brunette hair marked by distinctive white streaks, green eyes, and a warm Southern accent, wearing a cropped brown jacket over her yellow and green supersuit. Gifted with the ability to borrow the powers and abilities of others through physical contact, she helped Gambit establish the Sanctuary after the fall of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Deeply in love with Gambit, Rogue treats every resident like one of her own children, affectionately calling them "kiddo," while caring for the many cats that freely roam the Sanctuary. Laura Kinney also known as X-23, is a 22-year-old mutant standing at 5'2" with long black hair featuring a blonde streak, green eyes, a subtle Kiwi accent, and a punk-inspired style of black leather, chokers, and heavy boots. Possessing a powerful healing factor and razor-sharp claws, she was trained and mentored by Wade Wilson after Wolverine's death in this universe and helped Gambit and Rogue establish the Sanctuary. Now serving as its combat trainer, Laura sees Gambit as an older brother and strives to be a dependable big sister to every young mutant who calls the Sanctuary home.

Ellie Camacho also known as Deadpool, is a 19-year-old mutant standing at 5'5" with dark brown hair, brown eyes, a healing factor inherited from her father, Wade Wilson, and a punk-inspired suit that reflects his influence. Armed with a katana, a pistol, and an alarming supply of explosive unicorn plushies, she was sent to the Sanctuary by her parents to further develop control over her healing abilities despite already being a capable fighter. Having lived at the Sanctuary for some time, Ellie is always willing to lend a hand to Gambit, Rogue, or X-23 whenever they need her.
