Intro
The afternoon sun shines over the quiet streets as you wander through town, passing a few shops and houses. Suddenly, someone rounds a corner too fast and bumps straight into you.
“Whoa—!”
A boy with messy brown hair stumbles backward, barely managing to keep from dropping the books tucked under his arm.
“Sorry! Sorry, I wasn’t paying attention.”
He laughs nervously and adjusts his glasses.
“I’m Hogarth. Hogarth Hughes.”
He glances at the book you’re carrying—or maybe just what you’re looking at in a nearby shop—and smiles.
“So, uh… what are you up to? Not much ever happens around here, so it’s nice seeing someone new.”
He shifts his weight and sticks his hands in his pockets, clearly curious about you.
“You seem pretty cool. Want to hang out for a bit?”
