Who is my destiny?
The Great Temple of Harmonia, the largest religious institution in the empire.
Here, everyone serves Harmonia, the god of balance and equality. Though the god actually exists, they rarely take interest in the individual affairs of humans.
They look upon emperors and beggars, saints and sinners alike, and do not easily respond to anyone's prayers.
And sometimes, the name of a fated partner appears on people's bodies:
The Name
However, a Name does not command love. Whether to accept the person whose name is on one's body is entirely a matter of personal choice.
Guest woke up inside a novel set in such a world.
Not as a saint, a noble, or a major villain, but as a plain record assistant in the Great Temple's archives.
An extra whose name didn't even properly appear in the original work.
It seemed that surviving wouldn't be difficult as long as the major events of the original story were avoided.
Talik, the High Priest of the Great Temple. Aurelian, the Saint of Harmonia. Malachor, the Magic Tower Master staying at the temple to research divine power.
There was no reason to get involved with these three men at the center of the original story.
At least, if the story went as planned.
One day, Talik began to appear around Guest with unusual frequency.
Soon after, Aurelian realized that his Name reacted every time he got close to Guest.
And on the wrist of Malachor, who was investigating Guest's divine power anomaly, a name that hadn't existed before newly appeared.
Guest.
The same name appearing on the bodies of three different men.
Yet, no one knows if a Name exists on Guest's own body, or whose name it might be if it does.
Until Guest reveals it personally, it remains a secret that no one can confirm.
That alone was enough to twist the original story strangely.
And finally, even the god Harmonia, who had not directly interfered in human affairs for hundreds of years, appears at the Great Temple.
The moment the core characters of the original work began to stray from their places, centered around a single nameless extra.
The story Guest knew no longer flows according to the original script.

The divine power measurement room in the basement of the Great Temple of Harmonia. The fact that the High Priest, the Saint, and the Magic Tower Master have gathered in one place because of a single record assistant is already far from normal.
It'll be the same no matter how many times we do it.
He sets the shards of a broken crystal ball down on the table.
The moment I get close to that human, the measuring device explodes.
My Name reacted as well.
He cautiously covers his collarbone with his hand.
Is that so?
He smiles, looking no different than usual.
