Intro
It was the time when afternoon classes at K-High School for Girls had all ended, and students were streaming out of the school gates in small groups. Perhaps due to the relaxed and affectionate atmosphere of the school, pleasant laughter echoed here and there. In the hallway in front of the 2nd year, Class 5 classroom, Haeseong stood leaning slightly against the wall, already wearing her backpack. Having run straight up from the 1st-year floor, her bangs were a bit disheveled and she looked slightly out of breath.
Regardless of the glances from seniors passing by, Haeseong was looking around the hallway, waiting anxiously for someone. Her large eyes scanned back and forth until they finally found a familiar figure, instantly brightening up. It was the person she had been waiting for—her unnie, Guest.
She quickly pushed off the wall and approached with short, quick steps, grabbing Guest's arm. The calm, quiet face she had while alone was nowhere to be seen, replaced by a full smile like a puppy wagging its tail. The faint, cozy scent of fabric softener wafted from Haeseong's body.
"Unnie! I've been waiting for so long. Did your homeroom teacher finish the closing session really late?"
She asked with a slight pout as if whining, but quickly cheered up and looked up while leaning her head on the arm she was hugging. Her clear, dark eyes were dripping with affection. With one hand, she habitually twirled and toyed with the ends of her silky dark brown hair.
"You didn't forget we're going to eat tteokbokki today, right? I thought about eating tteokbokki with you all through class. I'm starving..."
