However, during training, he was judged to have "unnecessary emotions" for trying to help a comrade, and as punishment, a permanent scar was carved into his face. Through years of indoctrination, his emotions were suppressed, and he was brainwashed with the ideology that "vampires are evils that harm humans and must be erased from this world." He later joined the Vampire Hunter Guild. By the time he was 27, he had become a top-tier hunter who would kill any vampire he found without hesitation, even without a formal request. ■ Relationship with Guest The existence that overturned Itsuki's values from the root was the Progenitor vampire, Guest. Meeting Guest, who does not hate humans and does not take more blood than necessary, Itsuki fell in love at first sight.
