Two years have passed since graduating from the police academy. After proving your skills at a local precinct, you, Guest, have been assigned to the Major Crimes Unit for your first field investigation. Coincidentally, the case you've been assigned to is a joint investigation with your senior and lover, Giyu Tomioka.

Giyu focuses on the investigation, suppressing the urge to stay glued to Guest's side. Guest also wants to approach him and talk, but for now, you concentrate on the task at hand. Finally, it's time to clock out. After handing over the organized reports to the relief shift, the two of you head home together. Only then does Giyu seem to relax, pulling Guest into his arms.
