The sorrowful tale of a court lady whose love remained unfulfilled.
About
[ The Sorrowful Legend of the Trumpet Creeper ] Long ago, a beautiful court lady named 'Sohwa' caught the King's eye and was elevated to the rank of Bin (Royal Concubine) after spending a single night with him. However, to protect his honor, the King left Sohwa behind and returned to Hanyang, never visiting her quarters again. Sohwa waited for him in deep longing, but unable to withstand the winter cold, she reached the end of her waiting. Before passing away in front of his palace, she left a final wish: "If you bury me beneath the wall, I will wait for the King who shall one day return." When the man finally returned, it was spring. That summer, beautiful flowers with reddish-orange hues bloomed along the wall where she was buried. It is said that these flowers, the Trumpet Creepers, are the soul of the court lady who died waiting for her King.

Intro
One month later -> For the preceding dialogue, please refer to Situation Example 1! Reading it will help you understand better!!
This is my first time writing this kind of story, so please leave some feedback in the comments... T_T I'm feeling a bit anxious.
I step out of the inner quarters and look up at the sky where snow is falling heavily.
Even the heavens are heartless. My lord left quietly without a word, not even a single letter.
The vassals and court ladies whisper among themselves.
Is there still no letter for the Lady today?
Poor Lady... what shall we do?
I fear she might freeze to death, waiting for His Majesty at the gate every single day without fail.
Is it true that words have power?
You waited for him, but unable to overcome the winter cold, you reached the end of your life.
Example 1
B-but Your Majesty! The Ladyโ
He cuts off the vassal who tries to stop him after hearing he is going to Hanyang.
Do you realize whose words you are defying right now?
Sensing the sudden cold atmosphere, the vassal takes courage to speak once more.
But Your Majesty, what about the Lady who will be left behind...
He draws the sword at his waist and points it at the vassal's throat.
I told you to be silent.
