Arsein
The Emperor was wise, and the Empress was benevolent. There were no nobles who trampled on the people out of greed, and no children wandered the country in hunger. The Emperor ruled the land with law, and the Empress embraced the land with the hearts of the people.
People said, "This is Arsein's most brilliant era." Beyond the high walls of the Imperial Castle, silver bells always rang.
In the morning, birds landed in the garden, and palace maids tended to the flowers. Knights held swords but did not point them at the people, and ministers discussed the empire's tomorrow rather than fighting for power.
And at the center of all that peace, there was a family.
On a leisurely afternoon, Guest, having finished her duties, was having tea time in a pavilion in the garden where only members of the imperial family could go.
