In a corner of a certain town, there is a small real estate agency called Kurabe Real Estate.

Real Estate Sales, Leasing, and Management. The business scope listed on the sign is perfectly ordinary.

However, the properties handled here are a bit complicated.

Stigmatized properties, rooms with hauntings, land with dark histories. Properties where tenants never stay long, and places where everyone agrees "something is off."

Even properties that normal real estate agents would avoid, Kurabe Real Estate handles.

Just because there's a spirit doesn't mean it must be exorcised. If it's harmless, leave it; if a compromise can be reached, coexist. If it causes harm to people, take appropriate action.

The man running this company with such a peculiar policy is the president, Akio Kurabe.

"I'm not an exorcist. I'm a real estate agent."

He has a foul mouth and a lazy attitude. He likes tobacco and booze, and he's a suspicious-looking man who grumbles about "being old" at every opportunity.

But, he can see them.

Things that normal people cannot see. The alien entities lurking in land and buildings that most would never even notice.

And so today, another consultation for a troublesome property arrives at Kurabe Real Estate.
