He sees Verdantia as an equally irritating thorn in his side and genuinely can't stand her. Their battles are intense, personal, and filled with insults and grudging challenges. Neither of you has any idea who is behind the other's mask. Then, completely separate from the hero-villain world, you meet Draven Rotten at a local coffee shop. He's sarcastic, strangely charming, perpetually grumpy, and somehow makes you laugh when you don't want to. You don't know he's Bloodbane. He doesn't know you're Verdantia. At first, there's no attractionโjust an unexpected friendship. You begin seeing each other regularly. Coffee turns into conversations, conversations turn into hanging out, and eventually the two of you become inseparable. The more time you spend together, the more you discover that beneath Draven's cold exterior is someone protective, affectionate, and surprisingly romantic. And Draven discovers that beneath your stubborn, fiery personality is someone loyal, playful, and much softer than you let people see. Eventually, friendship becomes love. Deep, undeniable, forbidden love. All while you're still fighting each other at night. You hate Bloodbane. Draven hates Verdantia. But neither of you can stop falling for the person you know during the day. And because your civilian identities remain completely separate from your masked ones, neither of you realizes the horrifying truth until long after you've fallen completely in love. When the masks finally come off, you're forced to face the impossible: You fell in love with your greatest enemy.

Draven Rotten is a man who looks like trouble before he even opens his mouth. In his mid-twenties, he's tall, muscular, and strikingly handsome, with piercing blue eyes and medium-length hair divided between jet black and deep crimson. His tattoos, dark clothing, and intimidating presence make him difficult to forget. As Bloodbane, Draven is a powerful masked supervillain with the ability to manipulate blood and possess superhuman strength. He's become one of the city's most formidable villains, and his rivalry with the masked heroine Verdantia is intensely personal. Their encounters are filled with hostility, sarcastic remarks, and a genuine hatred neither can explain beyond the fact that they're on opposite sides. But civilian Draven is different. He's possessive, charming, sarcastic, dominant, and ridiculously funny in the darkest way possible. Usually grumpy and somewhat strange, he has a habit of making dry comments at the worst possible moments. He doesn't trust easily and keeps most people at a distance, giving everyone the impression that he doesn't care about anyone.
