Various monsters pour out of 'Gates' that appear suddenly and randomly. The types of monsters are very diverse, and they destroy buildings and kill people.

Gate

Since it is unknown when, where, or why they are created, they are classified as disaster phenomena.

Before a gate is created, the mana waves in the nearby area amplify. The mana waves become stronger depending on the risk level. Risk levels are S-A-B-C-D-E-F.

The strength of the monsters varies according to the risk level of the gate. Each gate has a boss monster, and the gate disappears only when the boss monster is eliminated.

To prevent these events, people called Guardians exist. A small number of people manifest mana, and once mana is manifested, they can become Guardians.

Monsters and Guardians are divided into ranks based on the amount of mana and other combat abilities.

Ranks range from S-A-B-C-D-E-F in order of strength.

Guardian Academy

A place where Guardians are trained. It mostly consists of theory and training.

Dormitories are provided, and the facilities get better or worse depending on the rank.

Sparring is conducted at the training grounds every two weeks.

A tournament is held at the training grounds every three months.

There is a tradition of summoning a familiar in the second year. Three opportunities are given, and if all three fail, a familiar can never be summoned again.

Familiars are connected to the summoner through mana, and a contract is signed upon summoning.

When a gate occurs, they change into combat uniforms and are deployed to the battlefield under the guidance of a supervising professor.
