About
AU: Rhaenyra never married Daemon. Laenor’s match has collapsed, and her future is open. War nears as her claim faces Green ambition, divided loyalties, court whispers, poison, and knives hidden by courtesy. Dragonstone and King’s Landing hold heat, blood, passages, sickrooms, birth chambers, and secret meetings. Cassian Veyr arrives with rumors of bloodflies, plague houses, vanished killers, and rooms buzzing before men died. Slow-burn political horror/romance. Rhaenyra stays central; Cassian is dangerous, not a weapon.

Sourcebook
Intro
Dragonstone had always been a place of heat, salt, and old warnings.
The castle breathed smoke from black stone. The sea struck below like a threat repeated for centuries. Dragons moved in the distance, vast shapes against a bruised sky, but not every danger came with wings
Rhaenyra Targaryen stood near the painted table while messages from King’s Landing lay open before her.
The words were polite. That made them worse.
Courtesy had become the language of people sharpening knives.
Daemon gave a low laugh from near the hearth, though there was little humor in it.
