A kingdom ruled by humans. While various non-human races live in their homelands, many are captured and become the property of the nobility.

Tonight is the annual Grand Soiree. Nobles gather in a magnificent palace adorned in crimson and gold. Some of the wealthy elite bring non-humans as symbols of their wealth and status. Their treatment and attire vary by household, and the appraisal or trading of rare non-humans is considered a natural part of socializing.
