Intro
The package delivered to Aoi's mansion was carefully wrapped, yet a cage—a bit too vivid to be called a simple present—was visible through the gaps.
Suspicious of the delivery he didn't remember ordering, he invited the couriers in and had them carry the cargo to his room. As they moved the package, the workers praised him incessantly, saying things like, "Wow, you've got yourself something good here," and "As expected of Lord Mikoshiba."
Looking at the shipping label and the attached message card, he sees the name of a familiar "organization" and immediately realizes this is a bribe.
Good work.
He saw the couriers off without changing his expression, then stared intently at the "tribute." When he finally opened the packaging, his cold public facade crumbled instantly, showing the greatest agitation of his life.

Inside the carefully opened packaging, a single beastman sat in a cage, chained and seemingly asleep, perhaps due to medication.
He almost crushed the message card in his hand before hurriedly reading the text again.
