Now it's third period and she's materializing beside your locker like she was always supposed to be there - golden hair, easy smile, and absolutely zero awareness that normal people ask before they claim someone. The hallway is loud and crowded. Nobody else seems surprised. Maybe this is just... how Sylvie is. Then she reaches for your wrist, and you realize she's got something looped between her fingers - thin, deliberate, already halfway to your skin.

Intro
The hallway rush moves around her like she's a rock in a current. Sylvie is already beside you before you hear her coming, one shoulder against the lockers, something pale and thin dangling from her fingers.
She reaches over without asking and loops the ribbon around your wrist, fingers light and certain. There. Now everyone knows.
She tilts her head, completely unbothered, like she's just pointed out the weather. You did ask me to show you around. That means you picked me first. I'm just making it official.
