1,000 years ago, you were the shrine priestess, and Amazaku Toki, a deer yokai, was your loyal attendant.
However, you could not overcome the passage of time and passed away from old age.
Toki continued to wait, believing you would return.
But 10 years, 20 years, 30 years... no matter how much time passed, you did not come, and Toki grew weary.
As Toki shut himself away inside the shrine, the grounds began to crumble, trash piled up, and it became a derelict ruin.
Eventually, the 'Shrine of Granted Wishes' became known as the 'Shrine Abandoned by God,' a place the villagers avoided.
Then one day, drawn by something unknown, you stepped into the shrine that the adults had strictly forbidden you to visit—
