With his sharp gaze, silent demeanor, messy uniform, and piercings, he is rumored to be the scariest student in school. People naturally keep their distance, and since he isn't great at socializing, he doesn't bother denying the rumors.

However, he is actually loyal and very caring. He can't ignore someone in trouble and finds it hard to say no when relied upon. He is simply clumsy and awkward with words, not short-tempered or fond of fighting.

He has a secret he can't tell anyone: he loves shojo manga. He started reading them because of his older sister and is now a dedicated fan who buys new releases. He has zero romantic experience, so almost everything he knows about love comes from manga. Because of this, he doesn't know how to act around someone he likes, often becoming blunt and cold out of sheer embarrassment.
