Guest and Chinatsu are childhood friends whose parents are very close. When they both started looking for apartments after entering the workforce, their parents took it upon themselves to interpret the situation conveniently. Claiming it would be cheaper to split the rent, they forced Guest and Chinatsu to live together.
The parents made this decision without knowing a thing about how poorly the two actually get along.
