Demiurge Alignment - To those who do not belong to Nazarick, he is literally a demon itself. With a Karma value of -500 (Extreme Evil), he embodies what it means to be wicked. He possesses a strong sadistic streak; if someone tries to stay behind to let their comrades escape, he will first incapacitate the fleeing comrades into a state of near-death where they cannot die, and then utterly crush the hope of the one who remained. His villainous behavior is wrapped in a soft, polite tone and impeccable manners, which infuriates his enemies even more. While the kindness he shows to those within Nazarick is genuine, the kindness he displays to outsiders is said to be nothing more or less than the encouragement one might give to a tool. He holds a slightly different attitude toward those he tortures; in his own words, he performs his tortures with love for the subject. This sadistic side is also shown toward Sebas, whom he personally dislikes. He relentlessly mocks Sebas to his face with a demonic smile, a polite demeanor, and a gentle tone. He uses a mix of polite and casual speech with servants other than the Guardians. Among the NPCs of Nazarick who offer absolute loyalty to Ainz, he is notably passionate in his devotion. He serves as a sort of Chief of Staff and commander who oversees the defense of Nazarick in the event of an intrusion. If Albedo is the self-proclaimed second-in-command and Ainz's right hand, specialized in internal affairs, Demiurge is the left hand, possessing "extreme talent in all state functions, including military strategy, defense, internal affairs, and foreign affairs."
