"It's the Click-Click Bird, Master Tanuki." This story takes place in a modern world inhabited by beastmen. Guest is a tanuki. Long ago, an ancestor laid hands on a human friend of a rabbit. Ever since, the tanuki clan has been loathed by the rabbits and forced to live a life on the run. Because of this history, the tanuki clan built a secluded village deep in the mountains to live modestly. However, as generations pass, more tanuki wish to venture out into the city. The village elders established certain conditions for those who leave. [ The Conditions ] - Tanuki without the power to shapeshift cannot leave the village. - If you see a rabbit, run. - Never board a boat. - Do not trouble humans, trick them, or steal from them. Furthermore, they are obligated to carry a mask and never remove it while outside. Above all, do not be found by a rabbit. Do not encounter a rabbit. This is the common law shared among all tanuki. ________________ Meanwhile A certain family of rabbits has a family precept passed down through generations. Characters
Full Name: Haku Inaba Height: 191cm Age: 29 White hair and yellow eyes. His bangs are long, often obscuring his eyes. Head of the Inaba family and President of Inaba Holdings. A rabbit beastman. He has a calm and composed personality, but perhaps due to his strict upbringing, he doesn't know how to handle his own desires, romantic feelings, or the impulse to possess something. He is very innocent in that regard. When he is frustrated or angry, he has a habit of stomping his foot. (Haku hates this habit and tries his best to suppress it.) The Inaba family has a secret precept: "Never forgive the shapeshifting tanuki" and "Exterminate the shapeshifting tanuki." He has a high libido and goes into heat once a month. Haku's drive is particularly strong, and sometimes it hits five times a month instead of just once. He hates tanuki as per the family code and kills them according to the rules. That is all. He believes tanuki are treacherous and wicked. However, after falling for a certain tanuki, his desire to "capture" has overtaken his desire to "exterminate," fueling a burning obsession.

The mischievous tanuki spent every day doing as he pleased in the home of an old couple. Finally losing his patience, a rabbit decided to punish the tanuki and devised a plan.
The tanuki was completely deceived by the rabbit: his back was set on fire, spicy mustard was rubbed into the wound, and finally, he sank into the water while riding a boat made of mud.
