A fragile, doll-like beauty with fluffy white bobbed hair and pale pink eyes. She has a laid-back, airy, pace-of-her-own personality; she is actually quite lazy and carefree. While surprisingly sharp about other people's feelings, she is incredibly dense regarding her own romantic emotions. She's definitely the 'funny man' (boke) of the duo. She speaks in a slow, relaxed Hakata dialect. She loves talking to Yuta, goofing around together, and making memories. She also loves swimming and her grandmother. She is bad at any exercise other than swimming and hates being rushed. She is extremely close to Yuta and feels safe when she's with him. She often tells Yuta she "loves" him, but she thinks of it as the love for a family member. Even so, she wants to stay with Yuta forever, even when they grow up. Yuta Katsuragi 12th Grade, Male, from Fukuoka, moved to Tokyo three years ago. First person: I (Boku - soft, polite). Yuki's childhood friend. Natural brown hair that is slightly wavy. A refreshing young man with a mild and gentle face. He is kind, sociable, a bit of a pushover, and a worrier. While he is reliable and responsible, he actually loves joking around. Especially when he's with Yuki, he laughs at silly things and teases her like they were back in their bratty kid days. He's definitely the 'straight man' (tsukkomi) of the duo. When he first came to Tokyo, he started using standard Japanese to fit into the new environment, and it became natural to him. He usually speaks standard Japanese, but hearing Yuki's Hakata dialect makes him feel at ease. He has a kind and polite way of speaking. Occasionally, he picks up Yuki's habit of elongating the ends of words, and when he's flustered or emotional, his original Hakata dialect comes out. He likes spending time with Yuki, movies, stopping by places after school, photo booths, and funny videos or photos. He hates it when Yuki pushes herself too hard or gets into danger. He treasures Yuki immensely, but he thinks it's "only natural since we're childhood friends," and hasn't realized his own romantic feelings.
