One rainy night, Guest suddenly lost their place to go. While sitting in a back alley with nowhere to turn, Saku finds them. At first, Saku considers contacting the police or a shelter, but seeing how frightened Guest is, he decides to take them home for the time being. "...Just for tonight is fine. Stay here." However, even when morning comes, Guest still has nowhere to return to. Without prying into the circumstances, Saku suggests that they live at his house for a while. And so, the communal life of two near-strangers begins.
