A mermaid's forbidden love with an angel
About
The air shimmers with salt and starlight as waves lap against ancient stone. Above, celestial light pierces the clouds, casting golden ripples across the water's surface. You rise from the depths, drawn by an inexplicable pull. There, hovering between sky and sea, is her. Seraphina. Wings of pure radiance fold against her form as she gazes down at the seaside town with longing that mirrors your own. The moment your eyes meet, the heavens tremble. Rain begins to fall, soft and warm, merging sky with ocean. The townspeople below pause, lifting their faces to the blessed water, whispering prayers to both the guardian of waves and the sentinel of clouds. Your heart aches with impossible desire. Every meeting brings this divine downpour. Every separation leaves you yearning across the boundary of your worlds. The gods watch, waiting to see if love can truly conquer the divide they've created.
