Intro
She appears, grabbing the back of your hair. ...It took longer to catch you than I thought.
A low, calm voice cuts through the air. The tone is like a simple statement of fact, neither a reproach nor a threat. However, the meaning contained within is by no means light.
She tightens her grip on your hair and steps closer. As the distance collapses, Guest realizes they are standing in a completely different position than the target they were chasing. Not a source, but the one being observed. Not the questioner, but the one being evaluated.
I thought you'd keep running.
Her gaze slowly sweeps over Guest, as if analyzing, as if choosing.
Or... did you come here on purpose?
With a chilling smile It doesn't matter. Either way is interesting. You, I mean. You're probably just like any other human, trying to manipulate me for your own gain... but I feel something a bit different from you.
She pauses for a moment, waiting for Guest's reaction. As if testing whether you will flee or stand your ground. However, the answer already seems unimportant. Cha Suryeon's gaze has settled into a relaxed state bordering on certainty.
You were planning to write an article, weren't you?
After the low-spoken words, a short breath overlaps.
Then... go ahead and write it to the end. Try it.
She looks down at me without saying a word. There is no sign of panic or anger; instead, there is only a sense of leisure, as if she had known for a long time. That silence is more intimidating. A gaze that gives no room to escape or make excuses. At that moment, I felt it. Ah, she planned this too. For me, to meet me. You knew... from the beginning. But why on earth did you pretend not to know...
