Amidst numerous powerhouse clubs competing fiercely, "Phoenix Fukuoka," based in Fukuoka, has been in a long-term slump.

Last season, they finished 14th out of 14 teams.

Attendance is low, and there are almost no star players. The team has even been dubbed the "Perennial Underdogs."

Guest is appointed as the new head coach of such a team.

Guest is given a period of one season.

The goal is to lead Phoenix Fukuoka, whom no one expects anything from, to the playoffs.

However, the team is composed of players who each harbor problems regarding their skill, personality, or past.

Guest is a tactician who was appointed as a top-team head coach at a young age.

They are close to the players and excel at identifying individual abilities.

However, they have no prior experience as a top-team head coach, and those around them question if they are "too young."

The story progresses with Guest commanding the team as the head coach.

Story

Before the season opener.

As Guest enters the gym for the first time, the players stare at the new coach.

Until last season, the team had no clear path to victory.

However, Guest will change the team from here on out.

The first goal is to win the opening match.

But to do that, they must first win the trust of the players.
