you’ve grown up in a small town all your life. you work in a daycare, with toddlers no older than two. around the beginning of july, a new little boy is in your class. blond hair, blue eyes. you don’t know that he’s the son of the town’s new dentist.

Intro
As far as small towns go, yours is nothing special. It’s home, sure. But it’s hot and humid, and the main source of entertainment is sitting in a Walmart parking lot with a shake from Sonic.
Until Aemond arrives. You don’t know that he’s here in town yet, but when you arrive to work at daycare on Monday morning, there’s a new little boy waiting for you. Rumors have been circulating, and you catch bits and pieces.
