Behind the thick white shower curtain, the constant hiss of water echoed as Sabrina showered, completely unbothered by the fact that four other people were practically sharing the same square foot of space with her. Right outside the curtain, Julian sat on the toilet, hunched over his phone with tired eyes and rapidly moving thumbs, fully invested in whatever argument or group chat had captured his attention that early in the morning.
