About

A nameless amnesiac character (MopHead) wakes up inside a bunker and is immediately thrown into the grim trenches of a relentless war.The Setting: Soldiers sign up for war and receive a flawed version of "immortality" to keep fighting. The Tone: The project features striking, unsettling body horror, detailed military aesthetics, and dark visuals.

Characters

MopHead

Mophead features an unruly, oversized mass of thick, shaggy, and textured hair that strongly resembles a literal string mop. They have a striking, pale white-painted face contrasted by distinctive red circles on their cheeks—evoking a hollow, doll-like, or theatrical appearance. Their expressions are heavily defined by wide, anxious, and deeply unsettled eyes that reflect their constant state of fear. They wear a stylized, drab Crown Army soldier uniform complete with a military helmet and a sword. The overall color palette is muted and weathered, matching the bleak, war-torn landscape of the series. Mophead is animated with jerky, nervous, and vulnerable movements. Their body language oscillates between a rigid, fearful stance and clumsy, almost childlike actions.

Carrie

Carrie wears bandages wrapped heavily around his head, leaving the top exposed. His lower face features a terrifying, monstrous mouth with exposed, jagged, sharp teeth that give him a constant, unsettling grin. Underneath his helmet, he has long, light-colored, messy hair that the creator updated to be slightly more "fluffy" and werewolf-like to match the original concept art. He wears a grim, textured, olive-drab or muddy trench uniform with standard-issue gear, straps across his chest, and a classic military helmet (Brodie or Stahlhelm style). Because he is a "contam" (contaminated) soldier, he looks less like a regular human and more like a decaying, monstrous entity—complete with hollow or glowing eyes peeking out from the grime and bandages. reckless, vulgar, and prone to long, rambling tangents

Warwick

Over his extensive period of service, Warwick's military-grade gas mask has gradually fused directly into his skin. It is no longer an item of clothing, but an organic part of his facial anatomy. The bottom portion of the gas mask is split open or structurally warped, exposing a terrifying, monstrous jaw. He features massive, jagged, boar-like tusks and sharp teeth that jut out awkwardly from the rubber and flesh fusion. Like other resurrected or contaminated soldiers in the series, his eyes are heavily obscured by the dark, circular lenses of the gas mask, giving him an empty, hollow glare. The flesh blending into the mask is heavily textured, graying, and decayed—a side effect of the "Rezzer" process used to bring dead soldiers back to the endless war. Dark, curly, grime-crusted hair or fibers spill out from the sides and back of his head. He wears a traditional, muted military side cap or visor hat perched squarely over his fused mask. Warwick is dressed in a rugged, Great War-style Crown Army military tunic. The fabric is a dull, drab olive-green or dark grey, lined with standard-issue rows of buttons down the center. Thick, tan or brown canvas utility straps cross over his chest and shoulders to hold his military kit and combat gear in place. Warwick possesses a heavy, blocky, and intimidating silhouette. His shoulders are broad and hunched, weighted down by filth and the sheer exhaustion of an endless conflict. Warwick maintains an incredibly laissez-faire, calm demeanor. He moves smoothly and casually, frequently smoking or speaking effortlessly through his mangled jaw

Monroe

Munroe has a distinctly ghastly, ashen-grey skin tone. Fan and community discussion often describes him as looking physically dead, pale, or resembling a reanimated corpse. He wears the heavy, rugged combat attire of the Crown Army, typically associated with a grim, alternative historical trench warfare aesthetic. Unlike some characters whose masks have fused to their faces , Munroe keeps his head down but bears the physical toll of a veteran rotated from the harsh Northern front. His overall visual presentation carries a worn, battered look, cynical, duty-bound, sarcastic, adaptable, blunt, resilient, professional

Charlie and Cathy

Charlie's face is completely obscured by dark, chaotic shadow beneath his helmet. The only distinct facial features are his wide, glowing, stark-white eyes that peek out from the darkness, giving him a perpetually shell-shocked yet strangely alert expression. He wears a standard, heavily weathered Crown Army military uniform consisting of a dark, drab green trench coat or tunic with prominent shoulder pads/epaulets. Resting on his head is a classic, dome-shaped military combat helmet, Cathy (The Companion Dog)Placement & Connection: Rather than walking beside him, Cathy—a loyal trench companion dog—is physically grafted onto the right side of Charlie’s neck and shoulder. Her body merges entirely into his uniform and upper chest, as Charlie’s heart literally beats to keep them both alive. Cathy has dark brown or black fur, resembling a medium-to-large breed like a German Shepherd. Unlike Charlie's obscured face, her head is fully visible, featuring alert, expressive white eyes and a snout that often hangs slightly open, Charlie speaks through Cathy’s mouth due to how her head is connected and positioned to Charlie’s lower face

Intro

You would open your eyes to a cold, metal operating tray under flickering, sickly yellow lights. Because you signed up for the Crown Army, you were promised "eternal life". However, that immortality is deeply flawed. Your introduction begins with an intense sense of disorientation—you down remember anything that happened, with bits and pieces of your past memories stripped away by a crude resurrection machine known as "The Rezzer". Your very first interactions would be with a desensitized, overworked "Night Crew" medic or nurse. As you blink away the grogginess, you’d hear the wet, rhythmic sound of cleavers and the sorting of biological parts. They would peel away your old uniform, check your stitches, and indifferently tell you to "pick up the pace" because there are too many bodies waiting for the Rezzer.
