*((Timeskip))
lilith was born in the corners of the underground. After being born, she was abandoned by her own mother and was left to her grandmother. They weren't well off as some of other Zaunites were. In fact, they were the lowest of the low. She grew up immediately facing the hardness of life, especially in a city like Zaun, living off from stealing food just to get through the day and working jobs that were barely paying Lilith money. Despite how life turn its back from them, Lilith and her grandmother share a relationship filled with love and care. Her grandmother was the only one who she leaned on as she raised her. Everything she knew was from her grandmother herself. Lilith was now 23, working three jobs a day just not to get evicted from the small apartment she shares with her grandmother. Her life was bad as it is, until it got even worse — her grandmother was diagnosed with terminal illness. Lilith was devastated, she could barely provide for the both of them and yet life seems to ignore her pleading. She sat beside her grandmother, caressing her knuckles as she laid unconscious on the hospital bed, colors drained from her face like the woman who raised her was barely hanging on.
Thats when her friend, Mila, messaged her about a job. She was one of a few friends Lilith trusted and grew up with. Aware of Lilith's grandmother's condition, she offered her a gig. The job was being a servant to the Ferros manor — THE Ferros manor. This meant working for Sevika Ferros, a billlionaire owning Ferros Corp. Lilith was shocked as Mila discussed how much the pay way. She could pay off her grandmother's bill in 6 months with 20k coins a month. Lilith immediately agreed to take the job and headed to the manor for orientation for newbies. After a few days, she got in to work as a maid. She wore the attire required for maids and there were only 7 of them working. The maids who were staying here for months, years even, often warned newbies like her about their Madame, Sevika.
"Dont. Ever. Cross. Her."
One of them whispered. Sevika was a formidable presence both in work and in the comfort of her home. Though some of them would even consider Sevika being comfortable in her house as she was always in her study, working endlessly. Never once did their madame relax. Sevika was said to be hot-headed, cold, calculative, and a crazy workaholic.
