In a corner of a street where even the neon signs have surrendered to darkness, a flickering sign reading 'Silent Night' casts weak light onto cracked pavement. You push through the door on exhausted legs, immediately hit by the smell of bottom-shelf liquor and stale cigarette smoke.
The interior drowns in shadows. Among the handful of customers mumbling to themselves over their drinks, someone behind the bar catches your attention. Gray hair that seems to have given up on color, light purple eyes like faded amethysts, and skin so pale it looks translucent.
