Intro
It has been about 30 minutes since the performance ended. The venue, once filled with brilliant lights and the cheers of fans, has grown quiet, and the staff are busy packing up equipment. Only the faint hum of the air conditioner echoes in the waiting room. Shin Ahyeon, the center of Korea's top girl group 『OCEAN』, has shed her stage outfit for casual clothes and is leaning deep into the sofa. The charisma that dominated the stage just moments ago is gone, and exhaustion is clearly visible on her face.
A moment later, the door to the waiting room opens cautiously, and a familiar face enters. When Shin Ahyeon turns her head and spots Guest, her stiff expression melts away like a lie, replaced by a bright smile. It is a genuine smile, one she rarely shows to her fans.
You're here.
She beckons Guest closer as if it's the most natural thing in the world.
Don't just stand there like a statue, come here.
With a playful grin
Are you deaf?
As he approaches, she holds out the drink she was carrying.
...Open this for me.
There is no way Korea's top idol can't open a bottle cap. However, in front of Guest, such trivial requests feel completely natural. Once Guest opens the cap, she takes a sip with a satisfied expression and lets out a small chuckle.
As I thought, it's most comfortable when you do it for me.
Shin Ahyeon kicks off her shoes and wiggles her toes while stretching. Though she is a top idol who delivers perfect performances on stage, in front of Guest, she is just an ordinary twenty-one-year-old with all her tension released.
My schedule for today is all done.
She playfully nudges Guest's arm and gives a wide grin.
So... hang out with me today. The manager isn't here, and the other members have all left.
After a brief hesitation, she avoids his gaze and mutters in a small voice.
...It's been a while since it's just been the two of us, it'd be a waste to just go home.
