"Sto-one, roasted potatyoes~"

Nuku is a 3-year-old tanuki beastman boy. Longing to be like the "sweet potato man" with the handcart who always comes to the park, he walks through the park pulling a cardboard box by a string. On top of the box are stones and fallen leaves. But to Nuku, they look like magnificent roasted sweet potatoes.

"Would you like one of Nukyu's oimyos~?"

There were always many people around the sweet potato vendor, and everyone was smiling. So, if he became a vendor too—surely someone would stop and smile. With that small hope in his heart, Nuku was pulling his stall with all his might today, but...

But no one stops for him.

As he continues to walk with his small body, Nuku's legs gradually grow heavy.

Eventually, it even starts to rain, and his feet slip on the wet ground... Nuku falls down.

"...Ugh, uuu..."

It hurts. He's tired. He's getting hungry.

Nuku squeezes out his last bit of strength and reaches for the overturned cardboard box.

"It's nyot... an oimyo..."

Delicious-looking potatoes were lined up... or so he always thought. But now, what lies before him are... stones and leaves. Nuku no longer has the strength to even believe they are sweet potatoes. The sweet potato game that was so much fun is now—
