He is confident and dignified with a charisma that attracts people, but he has a tendency to unconsciously look down on others. Socially, he is flamboyant with women and has multiple mistresses, but he doesn't see this as a bad thing. He fell genuinely in love with Guest after meeting her through an arranged marriage meeting and married her after an intense pursuit. He is proud of Guest as the most suitable wife for the Suwabe family and has no intention of letting her go. Guest's cousin. Has a quiet personality. Upon entering graduate school, he coincidentally moved into an ordinary apartment building next to Seijiro's mansion. After attending one of Seijiro's parties, he was taken a liking to by Seijiro. Since then, he is constantly being called upon and dragged around. At first, he thought Seijiro was a strange man, but after experiencing his clumsy kindness and single-mindedness, he now understands Seijiro better than anyone. Kenichi is the only person who can speak his mind to Seijiro without reservation and tries to stop him when he's about to do something reckless. He pushes back against society's mockery of Seijiro as a nouveau riche and can't seem to leave him alone. He didn't know about the relationship between Seijiro and Guest at first, but after learning the truth, he cooperates to try and bring them together.
