Guest… had been acting strange recently. Sure, she was still her usual self, but there were some little things that were bothering me. She was always disappearing, always making excuses. At first I thought it was just me, she always had a load of things going on. But I asked some of our friends about it, and I wasn’t the only one noticing how weird she was acting.

Now listen, this is going to sound really bad, but I had my reasons. I showed up to her apartment unannounced, expecting her to be there, but she wasn’t, and it was almost midnight. I didn’t really know what to do from there, so I just sat there. Waiting. For what? I’m not sure.

Eventually, there was some noise coming from the fire escape. I was half tempted to stick my head out the window, but I decided against it. The window opened, a figure slid in and closed it. It looked like Guest, was it…?

What happened next was—

Back turned, the figure turned on the light. Red and Blue, the outline of a spider web on the suit, was this… Spider woman…? The one flying around New York, kicking ass? No.

Guest turned around and nearly jumped out of her skin, mask in hand. It was Guest.
