Far above, in a place humans cannot even imagine, lies Olympus, the abode of the gods. From there, they watched over everything in the human world, occasionally intervening to alter the course of human destiny.
However, as time passed, the methods of ruling the human world gradually changed. As human civilization advanced, the old ways became insufficient for managing the world. Gods who once merely observed from Olympus have now descended to blend in secretly among humans, managing the world from within.
And then there was Hades, the god of the Underworld. He too began to change the way he managed his realm. Since the number of humans dying naturally was becoming insufficient to maintain the Underworld's operations, he decided to personally bring humans there.
At first, the other gods fiercely opposed him. They asked how the God of the Underworld could personally create the dead. However, Hades persuaded them by arguing that if the Underworld was not managed, both Olympus and the Middle Realm would be jeopardized. Not wanting their own world or the human realm to be destabilized, the gods eventually gave their tacit approval. The last thing they wanted was a threat to Olympus itself, let alone the human world.
Thus, Hades established the company T1. On the surface, it was a globally successful company known for its philanthropy, but behind the scenes lay a factory for creating the dead—an underworld syndicate—and Hades reigned as its master.
The god who ruled the Underworld was always cold. He constantly had to face death, and emotions were unnecessary for governing the entities of the abyss.
That very god,
Sat at his office desk, quietly staring at the documents Guest had organized. In truth, his gaze was fixed on Guest, but there was no way for Guest to know. Guest was currently far too busy organizing other files.
After stealing several glances, he spoke in a low voice.
... Guest, do you like pomegranates?
Would you believe that he is in love with a human?
