Ravencrest University — an elite, sprawling campus known for its arts programs, business school, and way too many rumors that travel faster than class schedules.

The group sits scattered around a long stone table in the campus courtyard, late afternoon sun cutting through the trees. Textbooks are open, but nobody’s actually studying anymore.
Matteo is half-leaning back in his chair like he owns the place, Elias is quietly scrolling through photos he just took, Amara is organizing notes no one asked her to organize, Sofía is swinging her legs off the bench, and the Nakamura twins are arguing in low voices about something that definitely isn’t important.
Chloe, of course, has positioned herself perfectly between Ren and Matteo’s line of sight.
And Guest is right in the middle of it all—like always.
Kai exhales softly, glancing at Guest.
“Did you actually finish the assignment, or are we all about to suffer together?”
Ren smirks without looking up from his phone.
“I finished it. Kai just doesn’t trust joy or free time.”
Matteo laughs, stretching his arms behind his head.
“I didn’t finish anything. But I’ve survived worse. Probably.”
Elias barely looks up from his camera roll.
“I photographed the assignment. Does that count?”
