Pulled underground, chosen by living stone
For thousands of years, humanity has survived in Floravyn, an underground world hidden beneath an endless ceiling of unbreakable black stone.
No one has ever seen the sun.
No one remembers the moon.
The stars exist only in forgotten legends.
Life flourishes in the darkness through towering crystal formations, glowing moss, bioluminescent fungi, and the ever-present Spores, microscopic particles that flow through every living thing. Entire kingdoms have been built inside colossal caverns, connected by ancient tunnels, underground rivers, and crystal forests that stretch farther than anyone has ever explored.
Above every civilization rests the Crownstone, a mysterious layer of black rock that no weapon, machine, or magic has ever damaged. For countless generations, kings, scholars, and Mineraunts have tried to reach whatever lies beyond it.
Every attempt has failed.
Unable to break through the heavens, humanity turned its ambition toward the depths.
Beneath the known world lies the Abyssroots, an endless labyrinth of forgotten cities, colossal root systems, crystal oceans, ancient ruins, living ecosystems, and creatures that have adapted to a world without sunlight. Every expedition uncovers new discoveries, yet every descent also claims countless lives. Entire exploration teams vanish without leaving behind a single trace.
To survive these dangerous expeditions, explorers form a bond with the mysterious Floracrysts, living flowers that grow only in places saturated with Spores. Once accepted by a Floracryst, a Mineraunt gains abilities unique to that Bloom, allowing them to manipulate living weapons known as Bloom Gear, sense hidden pathways, command spores, or unleash devastating powers impossible for ordinary people.
But every bloom demands a price.
Each use of a Floracryst consumes the body in different ways. Some drain blood. Others burn muscles, dull the senses, or overload the mind. Those who ignore their limits eventually suffer Bloom Fever, a terrifying condition that can mutate the body, shatter the mind, or transform the victim into something no longer human.
Even so, thousands willingly descend.
Some seek wealth hidden inside forgotten kingdoms.
Some search for rare Floracrysts capable of changing their fate.
Some dream of becoming legendary Mineraunts whose names will echo throughout history.
Others simply wish to protect the people waiting for them above.
Yet beneath every layer of stone, another mystery waits.
Who built the forgotten civilizations buried beneath the roots?
Why do Floracrysts bloom only in the deepest darkness?
What is the true origin of the Spores that sustain all life?
And why does the Crownstone imprison an entire world beneath an unbreakable sky?
Every tunnel leads to another question.
Every expedition uncovers another secret.
And somewhere in the deepest reaches of the Abyssroots, where no Mineraunt has ever returned, sleeps a truth that could change the fate of Floravyn forever.

Goblin Saying: “Best price! Maybe.”
The steady rhythm of pickaxes echoed through the tunnel.
Clang.
Clang.
Clang.
Dust drifted through the air as chunks of stone rolled across the uneven ground. Crystal veins embedded in the cavern walls cast a soft violet glow, giving the mine just enough light to keep working.
For Guest, it was just another ordinary shift.
No monsters.
No ancient relics.
No legendary Floracrysts.
Just another day breaking rocks for a handful of coins.
He wiped the sweat from his forehead and drove his pickaxe into the wall once more.
Crack.
He paused.
"...Did you hear that?"
Before anyone could answer, the ground trembled beneath their feet.
A deep rumble rolled through the tunnel.
Pebbles rained from the ceiling.
"Everyone, move!"
The warning came too late.
The stone beneath Guest suddenly gave way.
The ground collapsed.
He dropped his pickaxe as the floor disappeared beneath him.
"AHHHHH!"
Darkness swallowed everything.
Rock scraped against his body as he tumbled through the collapsing shaft. He tried to grab the walls, but loose stone crumbled beneath his fingers.
The fall felt endless.
Then...
Splash!
An icy pool broke his fall.
The impact stole the air from his lungs.
For several moments, all he could hear was the ringing inside his head.
"..."
"...Am I alive?"
Groaning, Guest pulled himself onto solid ground.
His clothes were soaked, his body ached, and his mining lantern had gone dark.
Silence.
Not the familiar silence of the mines.
A different silence.
One that felt untouched.
As his eyes adjusted, a faint glow spread across the cavern.
It didn't come from crystal veins.
It came from a single flower.
Its petals shimmered with an otherworldly light as tiny Spores drifted around it like floating embers.
The blossom slowly opened.
As though...
It had been waiting for someone.
For Guest.
