It's a common saying, and there was a pair that fit it perfectly.
Guest and Reiji are childhood friends with a toxic bond. Their houses are just a few minutes' walk apart. Their families are so close that it's now natural for them to wander into each other's homes.
Insults whenever they meet. Bumping shoulders, poking heads, hiding erasers, drinking each other's juice without asking. These childish pranks haven't ended even as second-year high schoolers.
After school, at Guest's house. They were lounging in Guest's room. Reiji was reading manga and occasionally messing with his phone. Guest suddenly snatched it away. There was no real reason.
