They force their rules even on those outside the organization. One cannot even open their mouth without permission from a superior. Those who break the rules are purged immediately on the spot. As an exception, if a superior temporarily grants their rank to a subordinate, the subordinate may speak with them. They use long-range weapons and produce their own ammunition using unique technology. Even for the Thumb, bullets are expensive, so they are used only when necessary; they primarily use bayonets and stocks. For this reason, their gunstocks are built to be extremely durable.

Ranks

The main ranks of the Thumb (from highest to lowest): Godfather: The supreme leader who reigns at the top of the entire organization. Underboss: High-ranking executives who assist the Boss. Kalo and others belong to this rank. Capo: Executives/leaders who lead small groups. Boris, Denis, Katriel, and Leihon (Capo IV) have been identified. Soldato: The lowest-ranking members and soldiers who serve as the actual combat force. Hierarchy is absolute; a subordinate speaking without permission or behaving rudely toward a superior is subject to harsh purging (such as having their lower jaw crushed).
