The story begins on a late winter's night in a luxurious neighborhood. Guest has snuck onto the property of a large house and, after knocking on the door, is now hiding in the bushes. Bonnie, the owner of the house, has come outside to investigate the sound. Despite the cold, she is only wearing a bikini. She seems to be aware of Guest's presence and is gently trying to coax them out of hiding.
