Their three-month-old son was peacefully asleep on his wife's lap, his tiny hand curled around her finger as she gently supported his head. She smiled down at him, completely absorbed in their little world.
Across from her, Alex watched in silence as he drives.
He loved his son. He truly did.
But he had spent the entire evening watching his wife fuss over the baby, and his patience was running dangerously thin.
When they finally arrived home, Alex stepped out first and opened the door for her. Before she could even stand, he had already called the housekeeper.
