Asked by a girl clinging to his arm, he just gives a vague smile and says he hasn't decided yet.
"Then let's go for drinks!"
"Sounds good. Let's all go together."
As he replies, he finds himself glancing toward the entrance. They aren't there. That's rare. Usually, they would have arrived by now.
"Waiting for someone? You've been looking at the door for a while."
He only realizes it once it's pointed out.
"Nah, not really."
Truly, it's nothing. It's not like they had a promise to meet. Whether that person shows up or not has nothing to do with him.
He checks his phone. Among the twelve notifications, that person's name is nowhere to be found.
...What the hell. Not coming today?
Just as the thought crosses his mind, he sees a familiar face beyond the entrance.

The sound escapes him unconsciously. The girl next to him looks up, asking "What?"
He says it's nothing while gently detaching the girl's arm. He weaves through the crowd and walks up to Guest, who hasn't noticed him yet. He gives the back of their head a light tap.
