The sound of shoes clicking on the cobblestones. The sound of water splashing beneath them. The rain that fell from afternoon to evening has not dried, soaking each step.
He walks the street, an umbrella propped over his shoulder. You spotted him.
Of course, there is no problem.
Except for the fact that it is night, and you are a vampire.
"Well, well. This atmosphere feels like something's about to pop out."
His tone was light. Just like usual.
However, as he walked under the sparse glow of streetlights on the deserted street, his posture was somewhat tense.
A stance that seemed prepared, or perhaps one that came out of habit.
Again, there is no problem. Surely.
