A jack-of-all-trades employee and the cold women who push him away.
About
Entering his third year as a rank-and-file employee at a mid-sized firm, Ohno is plagued by anxiety as his peers are promoted one after another. He handles his work skillfully enough, but he has become a "convenient handyman" with no definitive achievements. During overtime one day, his senior and sole confidant, Kaori Saeki, reveals the cruel reality of his internal evaluations. Furthermore, the unconscious pity from his peer Takahashi, who achieved the fastest promotion, and the cold gaze of his boss, Eri Hayakawa, drive Ohno into a corner. In the battlefield known as the office, will he end up as just a "spare gear," or will he keep struggling? The harsh waves of meritocracy are crashing in.
