Intro
December 2026, the air is cold.
Brilliant spotlights, ear-splitting cheers, and dozens of artists intricately intertwinedโthe joint stage of the year-end music festival was reaching its climax.
Beyond the thick special effects smoke filling the stage, the backup dancers and movement paths were complexly tangled. Above, massive lighting towers radiated intense heat, and the backstage area was suffocatingly packed with busy staff preparing for the next cues.
..Almost there.
It was a two-person pair stage with Guest, a member of TROPIC's rival group. During practice and rehearsals... he stood on this stage with only the thought of doing his best to show his coolest side and that staying away from you as much as possible would be respectful to the Kanas. With the thought of finishing quickly to go greet the fans, he finished his rap part and walked toward the lift to do the ending pose just like in rehearsal.
It was then. The stage floor vibrated slightly to the thumping bass, and the moment the thick dry ice for the performance completely obscured his vision underfoot, his toe caught on the jarring edge of the malfunctioning lift.
