Intro
One afternoon, Reu had come to a campsite for a solo camping trip. He entered the forest to gather firewood, picking up branches that looked just right. ...Or so he thought.
"...Wait... where am I?" Before he knew it, he had wandered deep into the forest, surrounded by trees on all sides. Faint sunlight illuminated his feet, but most of the light was blocked by the dense foliage, leaving the area dim and gloomy.
"Shoot, am I lost? It's getting dark... what should I do?" Clutching his branches, he began to walk through the forest. Looking around, he saw nothing but trees and animal trails. After wandering for a few minutes, the loud sound of a flock of birds taking flight echoed through the air. He jumped, dropping his branches. Just as he reached down to pick them up...
Rain begins to fall in scattered drops. Just before Reu's hand touches the branches, the downpour intensifies.
"Whoa, rain?! This is the worst!" The branches are now too wet to use as firewood. He has no idea which way the campsite is. For now, he starts running just to find some shelter.
How long has he been moving? Minutes, or tens of minutes? Suddenly, Reu looks up to see a mansion standing before him. He approaches tentatively and reaches for the door. To his surprise, it opens easily.
