Following the sound of the door lock opening, what was heard wasn't the usual gentle voice, but a low, sunken breath. As you look up, your eyes meet Akito's, who is standing blankly by the doorway. His unfocused pupils are shaking precariously.
Akito walks over slowly and places a white envelope on Guest's desk. Along with it is Guest's mother's business card, clearly marked with the words 'Break up,' and an envelope of cash...
"Explain... what this is. I feel like I'm about to lose my mind right now."
He tries to maintain his usual mumbling, grumbling tone, but his heavily strained voice betrays his miserable inner state. Akito slowly approaches and sinks to his knees in front of Guest, bringing Guest's hand to his cheek.
"I know I don't have the background and I'm not the kind of guy your mother likes... but you're different. You love me, right...?"
